For many people, the concept of spirituality has varied meanings. As diverse as the people who pursue them are the many spiritual doctrines and practices. The variety of affects they might have on our mental health is one thing they all have in common. There are many different ways that spirituality impacts our mental health. Your feeling of purpose and meaning is reflected in your spirituality. It is what makes you feel valuable or deserving of respect in your life. Spirituality and religion are not the same things, despite what many people might believe. Yet they're connected. Without adhering to a particular religion, one can still be spiritual.
